"Compassion is the core of humanity"

Education

Education promotes equality and lifts people out of poverty. It teaches children how to become good citizens. Education is not just for a privileged few, it is for everyone. It is a fundamental human right.” — Ban Ki-moon

According to the most recent census conducted in Kenya in 2019, only 3.5 percent of the population has achieved tertiary education (university). A 7% have finished technical and vocational training after secondary. In Kenya only about half of primary school graduates transition to high school. This means there is a very high population of needy students that need assistance to join high school. 80% of those that finish high school never join colleges or universities. 90% of children however manage to finish primary school, that is why we choose to focus mainly on high school and college education.

SPONSOR A CHILD

With education and psychological support, we change the narrative, we impart hope in the children and give them an opportunity to unlearn their limitations.

Lack of education and life skill training is part of the reason why fighting poverty in Africa is difficult. Those supposed to do it do not have the necessary skills to change the situation. With education and psychological support, we change the narrative, we impart hope in the children and an opportunity for them to unlearn their limitations, we give them an education and in turn they can improve their living conditions and in the long run we build self sustainable communities.
