"Compassion is the core of humanity"

Environmental Conservation

“To waste, to destroy our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed.”

― Theodore Roosevelt

Climate Change in Africa

Climate change in Africa is an unaddressed area and a big crisis as it is in the whole world. Here in Africa it is mainly caused by Soil degradation and unsustainable land/water management. A greener earth is an initiative under Core of Humanity that works towards environmental conservation, addressing land degradation, boost food security, and support the transformational resilience of communities to adapt to climate change.

Core of Humanity partners with the students, the youth, and women and engage in activities that promote the sustainable use of natural resources. We engage in Agroforestry which has proven suitable to mitigate the consequences of climate change and can provide livelihood opportunities for people living in rural areas.
There are a billion reasons why you should care about the environmental impact of climate change, and core of humanity is here to help make a better future for the next generation. COH works to promote green, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth

We work to increase climate change literacy programs while advocating for the creation of more green jobs for people living in poverty. We work on initiatives such as “A greener earth” where people living in poverty can make a difference by engaging in climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts to save Africa.

We support by:

Empowering women and youth to lead in environmental conservation in their communities
Helping visualise and finance sustainable development projects driven by local communities.
Mapping existing agroforestry initiatives, building the capacity of women & young farmers,
and initiating incentives with mobile payments for ecosystem services).
Encouraging and financing the planting of drought-tolerant tree planting results
